How to change an electric car window into a manual car window?

would like to change the window in my %26#039;97 sunfire to manual because it is missing the motor but i do not know the steps can anyone help|||You can do it BUT..even used parts are going to be a lot..you%26#039;ll need all the tracks from the manual door, plus the window regulator, the door panel (or cut a hole in the one you have) Can you not find a motor in a scrap yard or off a parts car? Changing out one window to another is an awful lot of work and doing just the motor is far easier.|||You will need to replace the door panel with a manual one.|||But a car with manual windows|||There is a lot of work involved. But if you are adamant that you want to change it from electric to manual, it would be easier getting doors from a breakers yard, then swap them, the only thing is you might not get the same colour doors.

Electric motors are only held in with 3 or 4 bolts and they run in a runner underneath the glass. When you fit the new one put it in the runner first, then plug in the wires and see if you can line up the bolt holes, if they are not lined up press either the up or down button on the switch until the holes are lined up then put the bolts in.
