Drivers side power window rolls up 1/2 way - motor sounds fine and window goes up easily 1/2 way but then stops and bumps when the 1/2 way point is reached. (window track issues?). If so, where do I find parts?
Also, trying to sell the car and many are concerned about the timing belt being changed (it has 57,000 original miles). I have not done so and the previous owner is no longer around to check service records as she was the original owner. I have heard that this is quite expensive to change, but even more so to fix if the belt fails. Any ideas on when this should be done as I'm sure that the Porsche dealer would do it for a healthy amount of $$. How difficult could it be?
1988 Porsche 924S Maintenance?
Sounds like you will need new window regulator. Should be able to find on line pretty easy. 924 motor is very simple in comparison to other motors,944,911. Changing T-belt should present no problems to pro mechanic.
