How hard is it to change a Jeep Cherokee relay fan switch?

my stupid relay switch (or thats what weve 99.9% narrowed it down to) died a month or so ago, and anyways, how hard is it for my husband to fix it himself, were buying the part off of ebay, so were already saving a 100 bucks already.

so i know it will take several hours, you have to take the front bumper off completely?

while im at it (dont ever buy a 03 jeep cherokee!!!!) why doesnt my back windows go down? motor??? how hard is this to fix by oneself?

The back windows are routed thru the Master switch at the driver seat. If that switch is worn out, the rears may not work consistantly. Try giggling the master switch and working the rear window switches in the back. Not a bad fix, but you will need some aptitude in how stuff comes apart. You have to take off the interior of the door to get to the switch.

If you want better answers in the future, refer to your Cherokee as the Grand Cherokee. The last year for the Cherokee was 2001, or maybe 2002.
